LOCATION
Located approximately 50 minutes from the airport, ’The Purist Villas and Spa’ lies in Ubud, behind Kutuh Katje, a small rural village surrounded by rice paddies that is only walking dis¬tance away from Ubud’s center. In this picturesque setting it is possible to experience the traditional daily rituals and ceremonies that symbolize Bali¬nese life.
Reknowned as the cultural and spiritual centre of Bali, and surrounded by tropi¬cal forests and white rivers, Ubud provides a window to Bali’s mysterious and colorful past. For these and many other reasons, Ubud has become home for writers and artists from all over the world. 
The Staff
The Purist is staffed by a carefully selected team of experienced and friendly local employees who will do their best to make your stay in Bali a truly enjoyable experience. We offer a full staff service, and our team includes a villa manager, chef, and butlers. For your comfort and convenience our villa staff operates on a 24-hour shift basis.
The Reception
The design and construction are in the style of an old rice barn. It is not an exact copy but translated in a minimalistic form with a labyrinth of teak wood beams placed on big river stones with a traditional constructed roof. The front desk manager will be happy to inform you about the various daytrips with private driver we can arrange for you. He can share with you some of our secret tips about the island.
The Living Room
This beautiful loft-like space - a large antique Joglo (Java house) with a typical wood carved ceiling - is located opposite the reception. It is there for your convenience. In comfortable lounge sofas you can enjoy a drink and read about Indonesian art and architecture. Wireless internet access and an Apple computer are at your disposal. Lunches and dinners can be served here for the moments you don’t feel like dining in the privacy of your own villa but still want to appreciate our chef’s sublimely appetizing meals.
The Livingroom can serve as a stylish setting to celebrate your wedding or to enjoy a family reunion. It can also be used for classes (yoga, theatre, and dance). It is possible to rent the entire The Purist villa compound. If you wish to do so, please contact our manager for further information.
