Terms & Conditions
To reserve a villa or a hotel through Bali Individual please do the followings:
- As most villas are private holiday home of the owners, we need to final check its availability before accepting any bookings. We shall return to you with an answer within a maximum of 24 hours. If you do not get any respond within such time window, please contact us on email.
- Once availability assured, you need to immediately make your decision and confirm the booking. Before you explicitly confirm the booking, the villa remains available in the market for your intended period.
- Once you confirmed, we will send you an invoice mentioning amount you have to pay and detail payment instructions. We will hold the villa for 5 working days, within which your payment has to reach our account. Shorter period may apply for last minute bookings. If we do not receive your payment within the period, we will put the villa back into the market for your requested period. Should you have any problem to comply this arrangement, please let us notified as early as possible.
- As soon as we receive your payment in our account, we will issue a booking confirmation notice to both confirm your booking and acknowledge arrival of your payment into our account. Please note that we require the full amount into our account, which means you, shall cover all costs related to the fund remittance. You shall pay any possible discrepancy upon arrival.
Private Villa daily rental rates are quoted in United States dollars (US$). Rates quoted maybe subject to change. The majority of private villas have a premium for high season dates. Some villas offer special rates for stays of 14 nights or more or last minute bookings usually 10 days prior to the arrival date.
Low: January 09 to July 14, September 16 to December 19
High: July 15 to 31, September 01 to 15, Chinese New Year, Easter week
Peak: August 01 to 31, December 20 to January 08
We will meet you at the airport at Bali's International Airport Ngurah Rai. We will await you outside the arrival door straight after you have passed through customs. We will hold up your name and will assist you with your luggage and escort you to your vacation villa.
We will always do our best to accommodate your villa departure time with your return flight travel schedule. If new guests are arriving on the same day you are departing, then check out time is 12.00pm. Late check out after 3.00pm may incur a half-day rental fee. Late check-out requests can not be accommodated should other guests arrive on the same day. Depending on the season many private villa owners are happy to be flexible.
We ask that you fill in our Form and return to our company prior to final payment either by email or facsimile. We will need your flight details for both arrivals and departures to be able to organize all airport transfers.
Guests are responsible for any damage to the villa property or for any extra charges incurred. We will please ask you to settle all outstanding payments or damage repayment before departure.
As part of the local requirements, all villa and hotel guests in Indonesia need to be registered with the local authorities within 24 hours of arrival at their destination. A nominal cost of around Rp. 25,000 per person is charged. This is a very simple procedure and involves the following:
- The Villa Staff will take a photocopy of each guest's passport shortly after arrival at the villa.
- A registration form will need to be filled out & signed by each guest
- These papers will then be taken to the immediate village registration office
we strongly recommend that you take out a comprehensive insurance to protect you and all those that accompanying you for the full time of your visit against illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellations and other travel contingencies. We also strongly recommend a health insurance that covers medical evacuation for emergencies.
LAST MINUTE BOOKING
In the event of a last minute booking made in Bali, payment is to be pre-arranged through our office, and full payment must be made upon arrival.
Bali Individual will not be responsible under any circumstances to refund any unused portion of with respect accommodations, car rentals, including any substitutions. If any services accommodations are substituted, Bali Individual will at all times and in good faith endeavor to substitute services accommodations of a comparable type.
Bali Individual disclaims any and all liability for property loss or damage, as well as injury including death sustained by any person whilst residing at a private villa, or whilst engaged on any tour, whether the loss or injury occurs as a result of breach of contractual obligations of Bali Individual, its servants, employees or agents.
Please indicate to us what your stay requirements are and we can always inquire to the individual villa owner. The usual minimum stay requirement for our private villas varies from a 3 to 5 consecutive night stay for the low season, with some villas increasing the minimum stay to two weeks for the high season.
NUMBER OF GUESTS
Our villas have a maximum number of guests, as detailed in our villa descriptions, which we ask to be respected. If you wish to have additional guests we need to be informed prior to receipt of deposit payment to acquire the villa manager permission. This is also to assure you of a level of service and adequate bedding and linens for your stay.
The balance of payment is required 60 days prior to arrival (90 days for Christmas/New Year bookings) or immediately if booking is made less than 45 days prior to arrival (or 60 days in the case of Christmas/New Years bookings). Once the balance payment is received it is also non-refundable
CHANGES TO BOOKING
Changes cannot necessarily be accommodated in all cases.
Bali Individual must receive notice of any villa booking cancellation in writing. We would present your individual case for cancellation to the villa owner for due consideration. As a rule the Deposit payment is not refundable.
50% deposit must be received within two (2) working days after the relevant invoice and payment instructions have been given. Once the deposit is received it is non-refundable.
If a deposit is not received within this time, the booking will be canceled.
PAYMENT BY TELEGRAPHIC TRANSFER
For Telegraphic Transfer (TT) payments we require the full rental charge amount to be received in our US Dollar Bank Account. At time of reservation we will inform you of our bank account details. Any bank transfer fees including corresponding bank charges are to be applied to your own bank account.

Payments by Traveller’s Cheques, other currencies or personal cheques, will not be accepted.
Please be advised that Indonesian laws can be much more severe than those of other jurisdictions for certain violations of the law, particularly in regard to illegal drugs, illegal substances or prostitution. The Death Penalty is enforceable for drug related crimes. Any guests or their visitors using or possessing illegal drugs, illegal substances or allowing prostitution on the rental property, will be removed immediately from the premises and the local authorities will be contacted. Any rent money, including deposits will be forfeited. Please understand these strict policies are for the protection of the guests and the property owners and managers. Indonesia is very strict in enforcing these policies and the Indonesian prison environment is quite different from other jurisdictions. It is understood that the undersigned is responsible for the actions of their guests and for seeing that all guests occupying a rental property have read and will abide by this rental agreement and the rules and policies set forth in the property rental's brochure or on its web site.
TELEPHONE CHARGE BOND
International calling rates are very high in Indonesia. Should you require the use of the villa telephone, we will need a bond by way of a Credit Card imprint or US$200 in cash as a form of deposit/security. We cannot always receive a detailed statement from "Telkom" the national telephone company prior to a guest's departure. Upon receipt of the telephone statement we will forward you a copy of the statement detailing the telephone calls, together with an authorization for a Credit Card Debit for you to approve and sign for the appropriate amount. Some Villas also offer prepaid international telephone calling cards where you cans save up to 80% on international call charges. Other villas have only hand phones available. Please ask our staff at the time of your reservation about the telephone set up of the villa of your choice.
If you do not wish to use the villa telephone, the telephone can be disconnected for the rental period. It is also very easy to purchase local 'Halo Telephone Cards" to use in your mobile hand phone.
If the hirer considers that he/she has cause for complaint concerning a property, the matter should first be taken up with the owner or villa manager. If satisfaction cannot be obtained, the client should then report the matter at once to our office. In such cases, if the agency considers the complaint valid, a partial refund may be offered. This will have to be discussed and approved by the relevant villa owner and may take several weeks to finalize. No liability shall arise beyond the refund of the monies paid. The Agency will not entertain claims lodged by a client upon departure or after return home when it is no longer possible to investigate the complaint effectively.
